I came across an online image-editing RIA on Halley‘s blog. MediaCreator alpha1 is an online multimedia authoring app built in Flash — a prototype along the lines of scrapblog. Some basic functionality is already in place: it lets users edit images, text and vector graphics online, and add masks, borders and backgrounds.
Today I hit an error and discovered that in IE the .type of an input element is read-only!

Funny things keep happening. Not long ago, Qianxiang Group successfully bought Kaixin.com from 9158.com, and then quietly launched the group’s first vertical SNS community aimed specifically at white-collar workers, “Kaixin.com” (note: it’s http://www.kaixin.com/, not http://www.kaixin001.com/). In the post An SNS Bloodbath Triggered by a Single Domain Name: Qianxiang’s Version of Kaixin.com Officially Goes Live!, it says:
